INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL RELEASE OF POET BILLY LAMONT'S "INTO THE 21ST CENTURY" CD

Poet Billy Lamont's CD entitled "Into The 21st Century" has just been released digitally internationally to itunes, Rhapsody, eMusic, MSN Music and many others through the label/distributor The Orchard. This CD/EP is from 2000 and includes two of Lamont's biggest inspirations as guests the late Allen Ginsberg and Mike Peters from The Alarm. See link below.

Poet Billy Lamont's new CD/EP/Chapbook entitled "billy lamont with the peculiar people" was released at his performance on the 4th of July at the four day music festival Cornerstone in Marietta, Illinois.

The "billy lamont with the peculiar people" CD/chapbook is a benefit for The Father Of Christian rock Larry Norman with all money going to Norman's Emergency Healthcare Trust Fund.

Lamont said, "Larry Norman is a close personal friend. As some of you know Larry was backing me by having me open some shows for him a few years back and we also started making a CD together when he became severely ill. Larry only has 1/4 of his heart operational right now and needs emergency healthcare. He needs financial help to get medical attention immediately! I am very grateful for all he has done for me and value his friendship very much. This is why I decided to record this CD/EP with some free recording time I was given and decided to put this out packaged in a limited edition low budget chapbook (24 pages of poetry) at my own expense so all the money made from this project can go directly to Larry." Lamont said, "The CD/chapbook is $10 but donations for a greater amount can be given and Larry Norman will see every penny of it. I promise you that."

The chapbook is a version of the limited edition chapbook Lamont put out while performing with the rock tour
Lollapalooza 2003 last summer, in the World Of Just BeCauses area, highlighting his poetry with activism causes.
